BIS 315 Project: Advertising
The Google Plus page for General Motors is effective use of social media. It features posts, photos and videos. It is also updated regularly and includes the link to the GM website, as well as several other links. All of the photos are quality, and the page itself looks good and is visually appealing

This is really effective, I like how it functions as a hub for all their other social media websites.

Yeah, this seriously JUST happened.
Bettar double chek your spelling chrome ;)
That’s terrible advertising on their behalf! I wouldn’t want to use their spell-check if the pop-up already has two mistakes.
This has to be a joke, haha. Seems like something they’d do around April Fools though
I’m not a big fan of snakes, ask anyone who knows me. But even I have to admit, this snake is gorgeous! Such beautiful colors and patterning. Still would not want to be near it, don’t like snakes
I tried to post just the picture onto my tumblr timeline, but it was really small. If you click the link you will see a very interesting picture explaining why it’s important to have a social presence or a “social resume.”
Still too expensive for me, but I like where this is going.
The newest SimCity game that just launched yesterday has employed a weird tactic: that in order to be playing the game you have to be connected to the internet at all times. SimCity has traditionally been a single player game, and many fans are upset about the fact that they have to be online to use what they know as a single player game.
To make matters worse, in the day that it’s been out, lots and lots of people have been complaining about not being able to play the game at all due to the servers being full. The issue is bad enough to make game reviewers actually drop scores for it.
Personally, I’m a fan of the series and I would love to play this latest iteration, but seeing these issues make me really hate the policies that they’ve decided to go with for this game.
